Library Mission Statement
Books and other printed materials, as well as certain audio-visual and computer materials, are powerful and indispensable agents for bringing enlightenment, new knowledge, encouragement, and inspiration to every member of the community. For the great majority, the quickest and easiest access to the world's best thought is through the public library. Because educated citizens are the resources through which society survives, our mission is to serve the people of Jackson County by providing books, reading and study services for their edification. |
